Professor Adamu Abubakar Rasheed, mni, MFR, on Wednesday, 3 August, 2016, took over as the new Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC) from the Acting Executive Secretary, Professor Chiedu Felix Mafiana. This followed the approval of his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, as the substantive Chief Executive of the Commission.
Erstwhile Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Julius A Okojie OON, on Monday 1st August 2016 handed over the affairs of the Commission to Acting Executive Secretary Professor Chiedu Felix Mafiana as directed by the Honorable Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu.
The NgREN has secured access to all Ebsco host e-books collections and seven (7) Ebsco host research databases among which are full text e-journals, periodicals and magazines of several academic disciplines and professional specializations.
