The Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN), led by its President, Professor Benjamin Ubi, on the 7th of March 2018, presented a proposed curriculum for the teaching of Biotechnology in Nigerian universities to the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Abubakar A. Rasheed.
The Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, mni, MFR, FNAL, on the 7th of March 2018, received a delegation of Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (NSP) led by its president, Dr. Rufa’i Yusuf Ahmed in his office.
The Executive Secretary,NUC, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed has assured that the Commission would continue to encourage and support the establishment of specialised universities and programmes to further enrich the Nigerian University System (NUS), towards moving Nigeria to a knowledge-based economy.
The Executive Secretary, NUC, Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, has challenged the NUC Skills Development Advisory Committee to develop a curriculum for Entrepreneurship Education and Skills Development that would be used by the Nigerian University System (NUS).
