1. The student’s logbook is too clumsy irrelevant questions.

2. The actual staff ratio is consistent with NUC guidelines in one category.

3. The staff development is weak.

4. Radiographers staff are not honored at the University Teaching Hospital.

5. There is no clinical supplementary allowance for Radiographer Lectures.

6. Students desk flaps are missing on many of the seats.

7. There is No evidence of research and collaborations.

 

1. The University should streamline the student’s logbook to include only the basic aspect of it.

2. The university should employ more lectures to meet up with NUC guidelines.
3. The University should ensure that all staff participate in staff development.

4. The University should ensure that Radiographers staff are honored at the University Teaching Hospital.

5. The University should ensure that Radiographers staff are paid clinical supplementary allowance.

6. The University to repair students desk flaps for comfortability.

7. The University should partner with other Institutions, host communities

 

The total score for the programme is 83.47%. It scored 29 (87.88%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
