1. marking scheme was not well developed, some questions were not allotted marks while others were block marking. 2. only seven (7) out of the sixteen (18) academic staff have benefitted from staff development programme. 3. classrooms were fairly furnished. 4. the offices are adequate in number and well equipped but are not spacious for professor and senior lecturer. 5. funding is not adequate.

1. the university quality assurance unit was advised to examine questions and marking scheme and to ensure that appropriate marks are allotted as well as broken down. 3. university was advised to furnish the classrooms with public address system and functional projector. 4. the university was advised to upgrade their professorial offices to a more befitting one that is adequate in terms of space. 5. there is need for more funds for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 84%. It scored 34.4 (93%) in Academic Matters, 28.2 (81%) in Staffing, 22.8 (84%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33%) in Funding, 2 (67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
