President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, and Visitor, Bayero University, Kano has said that it was imperative for universities like BUK to take a lead in opening our minds to emerging scenarios and equipping us to face the challenges posed by these changes.
In a keynote address, the Minister, who was represented by the ES of the NUC, Prof. Rasheed, commended the Management of the UniPort for the achievements recorded by the University, especially in the performance of CEFOR, which, since inception, had graduated a total of 39 PhD students, more than any other ACE in Nigeria.
