Upgrading the kernel as 2.6.36.7.1, and configure the system to Start the default kernel,
keep the old kernel available.

# vim /etc/yum.repos.d/kernel.repo [1] name=kernel.repo baseurl=http://2.6.36.7.1 enabled=1 gpgcheck=0 :x! yum update all reboot, then you can see the update kernel while booting set as defaults
